3:00pm - 5:30pm: Community Acupuncture Treatments, $30 (or bring a friend and get two for the price of one)
Community acupuncture is a return to traditional healing, where treatments were conducted in a group, rather than individual, setting. Group treatments foster a sense of community and support and are convenient for family members or friends to receive treatment together. This also allows us to make acupuncture more affordable and accessible for our patients.

5:30pm - 6:00pm: Acupuncture & Health, a talk by Dr. Chul Han, Lic. Ac., Dipl. Ac.
Chul H. Han, Lic. Ac. is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Oriental Medicine in American Liberty University. Dr. Han is certified by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) in Clean Needle Technique. He has a solid and balanced view of Eastern and Western medicine – he holds a degree in Clinical Pathology from Seoul Health College and has over 15 years of experience as a Medical Technologist in the National Medical Center of Korea and private hospitals.

6:00pm - 6:30pm: Yoga for Back Care, a demonstration by Madeleine Hexter, certified yoga instructor
Teacher Madeleine Hexter discusses classic yoga poses and how to adapt them to suit individual needs for all students. Her alignment oriented sequences will gently guide you to connect mind, body and breath. Madeleine is also experienced in teaching students with chronic back pain and scoliosis. She is a graduate of the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco's 500 hour teacher training program, and she is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.

6:30pm - 7:30pm: SunDo Taoist Yoga & Breathing Meditaion, a participitory class led by SunDo Instructors
A SunDo practice begins with a series of stretching exercises that loosen and relax the body. Next, a practitioner maintains various SunDo postures during a period of lower abdomenal breathing. Practice concludes with a series of cool-down stretches that circulate vital energy. Breathing is performed in a slower and deeper rhythm, which over time may change how a person thinks, feels, reasons and reacts. Physical health may improve along with a greater sense of creativity, self-awareness and joy.

7:30pm - 8:00pm: Energy Healing & The Breath, a talk by Christine Ucich, SunDo Instructor
How are breathing and vital energy connected? Each incoming breath energizes the body and each out going breath relaxes the body. If you want to energize your body and mind take more time to inhale and less time to exhale. Control of the breath will give you control over your mind. Control of the mind will give you control over your life. Connecting with your breath and using Taoist breathing techniques will allow you to breathe energy as well as air. Your health will improve and you will have more energy to enjoy life.

8:00pm - 9:00pm: Sound Healing Therapy, a hands-on session and group meditation with Tibetan bowls
Sound healing is an effective and proven modality that uses vibrational energy to help reduce stress, alter consciousness and create a deep sense of peace, well being and better health. Healing sounds have also been shown to be effective in the healing process for chronically-ill patients by reducing stress and aiding in pain management. The modality dates back to Tibetan Buddhism where the instruments were used for consciousness transformation and healing.
